So I got the rifle from Krale. Put the Hawke Airmax on. Put a target out at 25 yards and fired some shots with different pellets. A few 3 shot groups were ok. Then decided to just go with a 5 shot group with gamo hunter pellets. Top left. It looks like 3 shots, but it is 5! I am impressed with...

I have mounted a share of copes in my time. But not so, with springers. I have no clue if I get the tightness done right or not. I was wondering how many of you use a torque wrench. If so, is the wheeler good enough? Or should I just carry on as usual?

I live in CT and have been shooting in my backyard for years. I am located in a “town”, not a city. Great neighbors! I shoot about 300 feet from the road. Everything from bb to 30.06. No problems yet. I feel your pain. I can not imagine having to stop shooting on my own land. I never heard that...

I will have the same setup whenever Krale gets it to me. I am a bit concerned with the issue you are having. Did you get the medium profile mount?

I attempted to order from Krale, but it did not accept my card. I then received a notice from EnFact concerning possible fraud. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is this normal? Is it just my bank being cautious? Thanks.

So true. I’ve already jumped in and occasionally find a passage up into the light, but for some reason, I just turn back in and go deeper. Strange.

Ok, last night I ordered the Airmax that Steve suggested. And ordered the UTG mount that bear suggested. now I just have to “pull the trigger” on the HW50

Being new to this forum, I am becoming familiar with the rules. A couple of you have pm’d me, but I am not able to reply unless I respond to some threads. I don’t have much to offer but I will try.

I have looked into pcp. Cost, for a quality rifle, is one reason I back away from them. Ease and simplicity is why I love break barrels. A gun and a tin. Simple. I get it though. The range and capabilities of a pcp most always outdo springers. Who knows, when retirement hits, (soon), maybe...
