Mine is above DW 1700 and has the adjuster . I saw a parts diagram that showed it screwed onto the reg adjuster , but can’t seem to find it now 🙈 I’ve had a look at mine and there’s an Allen bolt down inside it . May be that the wee bolts fallen out ?
