I built the rear bag rider out of a 1” brass rod, tapped it to fit the the Kraford adjustable stock peg, and machined the round rod to a V to fit the rear bag. The front is a piece of 3” aluminum channel bolted to the the top of the Kraford extended trigger guard, so I can still use my bipod...
Thank you! The swing-out tray is a great idea; I'll add that on the next one. I think 1/4" plate would be plenty sturdy by itself, but where I'm from, you could fry an egg on it most of the year, that's why I opted to fill it with concrete.
Once all the parts were rounded up, I’m guessing start to finish ~6 hours. 5 or so welding and the rest concrete and paint. My welder buddy had all the cool tools and know how to make it go smooth.
I won’t be able to blame missed shots on the bench. 4 inches of concrete wrapped in steel with 4 1/2” & 3” used oil pipe legs. And a tractor supply tractor shade.
