    Newbie question, storing loaded?

Oh, and sorry to the OP. You specifically said not to re-hash the safety of storing a loaded airgun. We’ve kind of strayed off your original question….apologies all around. Gun (and airgun) safety is, as it should be, a sticky subject.

    Newbie question, storing loaded?

Yes so true and no explanation needed. We should always be concerned with the negligence and the effects of that negligence. Not only for the victim(s) and their families (and friends) but the perception that it leaves on all gun owners.

    Newbie question, storing loaded?

Must be pretty hard to shoot a flushed quail, pheasant, chukar, or other game bird if you have to open and load your shotgun before you can take a shot. I’m betting that most people who’ve taken a firearms safety course know one of the rules for crossing fences is to First unload your gun. I...

XP XP badger .401 Chrony numbers

Wow, 538 fpe with a 155gr slug. That’s impressive! The 376 fpe with the 200gr is more what I remember the Badgers capable of. Is the 1250fps correct?

What springer did you shoot today?

Are you shooting round ball or shot out of the 1100? I need to drag mine out again and shoot it some!

What springer did you shoot today?

I like!! I haven't got the bug for a 57, 77, or 97 yet, but my walnut 95 .22 should be here tomorrow and my 50s .20 has been on order from AOA for about 2 months. I'm suddenly getting the urge to order a 30s deluxe .177 now! I've got three Hawke scopes waiting to be mounted too....

    HW/Weihrauch .20 Caliber

It might be nice if there were a couple more choices for .20’s or maybe a couple options for diameter like .22’s to dial in a particular gun, but as mentioned, the available options pretty well cover most springers. Since we’re talking springers, I bet many of the heavier .22 pellets may not...

HW/Weihrauch Walnut hw97 are in at aoa...

I just handled the one AOA has on the rack this morning, but didn't see this trigger guard/wood issue question until now. I wish I would have looked a little closer, but didn't notice. The walnut stocked gun did look pretty nice overall though. I think they have them in all but .22 right now.

    HW/Weihrauch HW50 and HW95 .20 or.25?

Well, I was in AOA about two hours ago and looked at four walnut 95's to choose a stock. I went ahead with a .22 and it's on it's way (shipped to my house). They don't have anything on when the .20 HW50's will be shipped, but that's OK. This 95 will be well broken in by then! There's...

    N/A HW 35 SLING

I agree that most sling swivels do affect the value and really the aesthetics of a fine shotgun though I have seen some pretty nice European guns that come from the builder with swivels. Like everything....beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Have a good evening!

    N/A HW 35 SLING

Have to politely disagree friend. You've obviously not hunted big game west of the Mississippi, in areas that you need to use your hands to climb, or hunted game birds like chukar. If you had, you'd know the value of a good sling. Even waterfowl and turkey hunters often use slings to their...

    Other good cyote gun

Right here: https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/cap-arms-recluse-357-now-800.1297822/ Then add a Hawke Vantage 2x7 AO on sale right now at Dvor for $85, and a set of Hawke match rings from Amazon for $29 and you'd be right at your $900 limit.

Tuning best caliber for a 12-16 fpe springer?

This kind of discussion has been coming up on powder burner forums for quite a while….seems like I see 6.5 Creedmoor references a lot….🤣🤣
