The bolt in theory could get taken out and machined to take an oring, but then the barrel would have to have the oring groove filled in somehow.

Always, makes for way easier barrel cleaning! It’s mostly increased back pressure that blows out the oring here.

Valve pin to receiver seal to my understanding is how it works, depending on how bad it’s leaking from there I’d try to shoot it quickly after filling to reseat. I wouldn’t dry fire though as that is known to break the valve pin on these.

The valve pin sits in a little metal cup housing that threads into the receiver part, there's an oring on the outside that seals from housing to receiver and one inside that seals from the valve pin to the housing. Those are the orings I'd look at first, but if the gun is leaking and you bought...
