Honestly, I’ve always thought the Gamos are so cheap you. Any do any better. You can buy it make different face plates to mix it up. The Remington line of knock downs are also great deals. 

Why not just get an old golf cart on Craigslist and strap your tank to that? They regularly are for sale around $10. Use the money you save to buy a new rifle!

All, I got a BNM multishot breech recently. I was going to put on my .177 Disco but this breech is the one with the shroud fitting. That would mean making a shroud which isn't so much the issue as then custom making a barrel band. I'm now thinking of making this into a multishot pistol. ...

I did the same thing. Got a longer hex screw to replace existing and drilled the second into the plastic.

True it’s not a good practice but if they’ll go boom in your hot car then those firefighters are screwed. Damn near suicide bombers for sure. ;)

Glad nothing bad happened. Yes, there is common sense expected of people not to walk into the line of fire but it is ALWAYS the responsibility of the person with the trigger finger to ensure all is safe. Not pointing the finger at you but as you say you cannot over-stress safety and accidents...
