.22 VS .25 Slugs, What's your choice and why?! The Ultimate Poll

Well, only allowed up to .22 without firearms license. Much easier to get a .50 BMG license than .25 cal air rifle. 🥴

Are you a tuner , just love sending lead only or bit of both?

Tuner, tuner to the core of my being. As soon as I get my rifle shooting with something really good, I find some new pellet\slug and start again...... and again. Not big into competition shooting, rarely hunting, just want to be alone on the range with some new projectile trying to find a...

    Zeiss

That is the scope I have on my FX Mav. I do not shoot HFT, so cannot comment as to its suitability other than it is a heavy scope, not something I would want on top of a freehand held rifle. I would rather go for a fixed power 10x or 12x, maybe a 16x,

    FX Wildcat Mk3 + H&N Mk2 slugs = Magic

HP 2 are made with softer lead, deeper hollow point, expand easily. Older version are hard, penetrate well but with much less expansion. Both shoot equally good in my Maverick. IMHO older version for shooting gongs etc. and HP 2 for hunting, unless shooting tough critter's then maybe use...

FX Has anyone been able to get their FX to shoot slugs MOA at 100 yards?

Superior @ 1:24, I find this liner best overall, including and up to 30gr H&N HP 2 slugs, I don't shoot heavier than 30gr. As a side note, I find the 27gr H&N slugs to have a higher BC than 30gr H&N slugs, measured purely by POI on target at distance compared to what Strelok would say I need...

FX Has anyone been able to get their FX to shoot slugs MOA at 100 yards?

100m(109 yds) FX Maverick 700mm .22, DonnyFL Ronin silencer(best barrel harmonic tuner there is :-) H&N 27gr .218 HP2 Slug @ 995 - 1005fps Best 5 shot group to date, but almost always about +-1 MOA under good environmental conditions and from bench, front of rifle on tripod and rear of rifle...

Saber Tactical Chassis for Fx King

Quite frankly I do not understand why FX does not sell models like Crown\King with option of buying the gun without a stock\chassis, for those who want to buy an aftermarket tactical stock or make their own custom stock. At least the cost saving of buying the gun without a stock would alleviate...

Best looking air rifle you've seen, owned or shot

Please do not, you will regret it....... they are sublime rifles and somewhat different to the norm. Rather rob a bank or something to fund next rifle, don't sell your PULSAR!!

Yong Heng compressors: which is the best one to get?

I have the Digital version. Only gripe I have is that the pressure reading sensor system is off by +-45 BAR, independently verified, but at least the error is consistent. Anyway I monitor my fill station gauge for an accurate reading(calibrated), I set the auto-off to well above where I am...

    What Scopes is everyone Using?

My earlier post here(July 2023) was: Hawke Frontier 30 FFP 4-20x50 MRAD Since then moved to: ZEISS LRP S3 425 MRAD Hawke was good, but not ZEISS good. I enjoy long range shooting and the Hawke was limited to about 14.2 MIL with Zero Stop in place. The Zeiss has officially 46 MIL elevation...
