I've had another thought before I order my .22 cal. STX barrel kit. If I went with the 500 mm barrel instead of the 600 mm, what would be the gains or losses with that barrel? I believe velocity is gained with the longer barrel, but I ultimately want accuracy and would also like to shoot slugs.

Thanks for the reply back. I'll probably just wait to see how the sound is after trying the barrel. Where I live, I am fairly far from neighbors, so sound shouldn't be a problem. Will a moderator just screw onto the end of the barrel, or are there any other things I would need to purchase?
