What is the max pellet/slug length of the Impact M3 30 Cal

Still no confirmation in this thread regarding maximum slug length allowed for .35 Impact M3?

AIRSABER Arrow Rifle Experiments And Observations

The 9 Umarex arrows from Pyramyd Air have been fine, with 3 of them being used extensively, including penetration of sandbags maybe 6 times. Bent some 150 grain field points meant for a more narrow shaft and bent base of blades/bent and dulled tip on a SEVR Robusto broadhead with blades screwed...

AIRSABER Arrow Rifle Experiments And Observations

Put about 12 rifle arrows down range today. Very nice working on knowing how it shoots with varying ranges. Found some 150 grain field points to attempt to match the SEVR Robusto broadheads. Mistakes are too expensive busting up those tough (but not invincible) mechanical broadheads. Plus they...

AIRSABER Arrow Rifle Experiments And Observations

Appreciate that rangur1. Kind of wondering if some members here bought one of these early on, thinking it was something different and capable of taking down large game, then had trouble pressurizing it (cock it first time then decock after pressured up) or the scope was fuzzy (adjust ocular...

AIRSABER Arrow Rifle Experiments And Observations

This is a fun rifle: that is if you are prepared for its nature. It would be very interesting to hear from other members about their experience. We've heard complaints; some definitely justified, and others might just be early efforts and distaste with those initial outcomes. I am attaching a...

    Umarex Airsaber disappoints

Couple weeks ago I stayed home to get the FedEx delivered AirSaber from Pyramyd. Umarex shipped this unit with a precisely designed plug inserted at the end of the shroud and holding the inner tube in dead center. It is labelled to be used during transport. The picatinny rail on the top of the...

    umarex air saber?

Second that motion. Is the picatinny rail a proper dimension? How are the arrows holding up after repeated firings?

Lelya Takes Flight: Beginning Of An EDgun Odyssey

Well. Thought a little update is due. Still holds air great. Shoots more accurately than me. Electronic gauge still works, but only use it for checking amount of pressure beginning and end of shooting session. The bolt assembly locking mechanism seems to vary as it locks. Sometimes there is...

    Ways to clean your barrel.

Do you shoot a lead pellet at the same time with a felt pellet? Which is loaded first, lead or felt? The Kitrobaskin household uses Ballistol as well.

    Ways to clean your barrel.

String trimmer line works for me. Used heat to make a bump at the cleaning end, then shrink tube over the bump to get the right size for the patch to press against the interior of the barrel (.25 caliber in this case)

    Best sub $100 pistol.

Been shooting the Umarex Buckmark over a month. Pyramyd Air sent me an email; said they just got two units in. So easy to mount a Red Dot. Our 10 year old can cock it. Nice adult sized grip, too tiny a trigger curve and way too heavy pull but consistent. Plenty accurate but can't shoot off a...

Why is the efficency of pcp air rifles so low compared to firearms?

Hey, not a stupid question at all. It is so interesting to read the different perspectives. I was kind of waiting to see if some member would write that the cost of a compressor or other means to compress gas should be included in the mix when compared to the self contained cartridge.

Advice for first rifle for 5 year-old?

Nerf Rival offers indoor shooting, though glasses should be used in case of mistakes. Those little foam balls can hurt. 5 years old is pretty young for pellets unless super close supervision, don't you think?

Why is the efficency of pcp air rifles so low compared to firearms?

Efficiency? An air rifle does not use primer, powder or brass case. The energy and resources required to manufacture and assemble those components make the air rifle much more efficient. The previous post comparing the cost of shooting with these two methods is revealing don't you think? Or is...

Edguns trigger hand finger placement question

These somewhat large hands like the indentation for stability and repeatability. Moving through the forest in hand yields more confidence.
