Awesome recipe. I will definitely give this a try. Thanks.

    Eurasian dove

Nice. Open sights and CO2. There seem to be a about as many of the collard doves here now as the morning doves. I’m in central Calif. I don’t really like dark meat that much either but since I love hunting them I make the sacrifice and eat them too. Kenny

    Crosman Cabelas outfitter .22

That looks really cool. While in the woods that butt stock can act as a decoy😁. Kenny

    Tuning De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

Thanks Treefrog. I plan to give the barrel a good cleaning this weekend and also lap/polish the bore. I am also going to do a little work on the trigger. The trigger is not terrible but it does have a bit of "creep". I will probably try dropping that o ring in as well as see what difference it...

    Tuning De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

Thank you for the detailed instructions. This is going to be a fun project. I am also a welder. Well at least I own a welder and attempt to weld stuff. I’m just a hobby level welder. I like to make targets for my air rifles mostly. I know what you mean about keeping scrap piles of stuff. Thanks...

    Tuning De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

Treefrog, do you happen to have any links for the orings and reduced transfer port seals that you use in your QBs? Thanks, Kenny

    Tuning De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

Thank you gentleman. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out. I have played with the ’bstaley’ mod in the past with my dad’s Marauder so I am a little familiar. I like that idea since it is not a permanent mod. If I decide to also experiment with transfer ports where would I look...

    Tuning De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

I recently received a new Beeman AR2078B. It's a great fun rifle for ten meter shooting. I'd like to reduce the velocity to make it quieter and get more shots per fill. Right now it is getting 635fps with an 8 grain wadcutter and its giving just over 40 shots on a single CO2 cartridge before I...

Beating the Ballistic Coefficient horse to death

If you have a chronograph you can determine the BC for your pellet on your own. It will be much more accurate than a BC from the manufacturer. The BC that you determine on your own will take into account your elevation, your particular barrel and tune and velocity. Also keep in mind that BC will...

    Airgun owners vs firearm owners

I own both. I shoot my air guns 99% of the time. Only firearms I seem to shoot anymore are my CCW for practice and a couple unique rifles. I have an old Remington Rolling Block that has been re-barreled to .357 magnum with a very long octagon barrel. It's a ton of fun. Other than that I just...

    Crossman 2100 vs wasp

I would not use salt just to prevent rust. I never had any problems with the sugar. I never needed to clean it out afterward. All the sugar just seemed to get blasted out with the shot. I do have a Bug-A-Salt now though and it is lots of fun too. Kenny

    Crossman 2100 vs wasp

That's the best kind of wasp. Your method also preserves the best cuts of meat. :p Before the seals went bad I used to shoot wasps with my old childhood Crosman 760. I would pump it a few times and then place a pinch of sugar into the breech and fire away. Worked great out to 4 or 5 feet...
