Now I'm thinking get a 'bottle' to bring to the range with me to top off. Haven't even touched the gun and already thinking of what more do I want (G).

OK folks, I have bit the bullet, or actually the pellet. Stopped of at my LGS. Ordered a Benjamin Marauder, 22 cal, synthetic stock. Stopped off at Amazon. An inexpensive compressor, a Vevor. and a spinning target to shoot at (G). A small step for mankind, a big step for me!

The vast majority is MY money. All she can do is complain, and there are enough things that I do/don't do/do wrong/forget to do, etc. for her to complain about. Its just so much easier for me to see what I want, go out to the car, get the envelope of cash (usually 1K) and no one the wiser (G)..

Old and fat (G). 74 YOA and the idea of a hand pump filling a larger tank gives me second thoughts.. I would like to make it to at least 75 without a heart attack/stroke..

Bench shooter, 50 yard range. Just like to sit there in the shade and put little holes in the paper where I want them. Thinking a Benjamin Marauder 22 caliber and a low priced (~$250) compressor. If I stick with it I can always buy a small bottle (2 - 3 L?) to top up at the range. So many...

Thanks for all of the good words. My main problem is avoiding using a credit card for purchases. My wife of 52 years yells at me "You don't need another gun" (G) when she gets the CC bill. If there was a dealer within 20 miles I'd be there with an envelope of cash. Right now thinking of a...

What pistol did you shoot today

Going through this forum, had to take break from reading so I jumped to the end. Have a Hatsan model 25 super charger in .22 caliber. Sit down at the bench at the range, toss a can down towards the backer, and start shooting at the can and knocking it down the range. Its a guaranteed tin can...

I'll check the classifieds out. So used to buy either new sight unseen or used if I can actually touch it!

A lot of good suggestions, making me think! I've only found one store within 20 miles that sells pellet guns. Thats where I got my Hatsan mod 25 in .22. They just sell springers. Thinking the only choice I have of feeding my pcp yen is to take a list of guns to them and see what they can order...

Filling Benjamin Marauder w/ compressed air

I'm doing a lot of thinking on getting into the pcp rifle world. More I read, the more I learn! Maybe a 50 buck handpump. Maybe a $300.00 compressor. And a 3L mini bottle. Amazon is my friend!

I'm thinking of simple like a Diana Stormrider. Major problem is there are no stores with PCP rifles in stock so I can pay cash and avoid my wife telling me I don't need any more guns. I'm in no rush, its not like I don't have enough guns to shoot (G)..

Yep, My motto is "If its worth doing, its worth over doing". Easy enough to jump on Amazon and click a couple of times and its in my hands in a couple of days. Just prefer to pay in cash and not use the CC. Been married so long the warranty has expired and I can't return her (G).
