This is a shot in the dark….pun intended. HAS anyone ever shot the walther parrus? I heard some reports that there pretty good for the price. Hey Joe your glass recommendations are good, have you used a new hawke 30 yet either model?

I knew we would have answers all over the place . That’s what is great about this hobby . I love shooting high quality springers. If my quarry was white tail I would Def want a pcp. But I drool over the classics wishing I had more room and funds. My next will prob be a tx hc in .22. Not exactly a classic but someday it will be. If you dream about the newest gun that’s OK, if you’ve used the same gun since 1981 that’s ok, and if you love all that is airgunning that’s good too.

I’ve put around 500 rounds through it both jsb’s ,polymags, and a few h+ns ftt and crow mags. It started grinding horribly during cocking, but until that happened it shot relatively smoothly it had a very fast shot cycle and definitely did shoot better open sighted out to about 35 yards it was squirrel hunting Worthy but it is being returned as defective and I won’t tell you how poorly the Finish held up on the Walnut stock. I put up a group on the other topic and it’s shot cycle is so bad now that it destroyed a mantis scope

I had a red rider that I could hit a pop can at the width of the driveway about 25 feet, which I thought was awsome….my first gun as an adult was a cros 1377 which I no longer have but miss.

Hello guys and gals my name is Adam aka kanthal which is what my friends call me. I am 35ish with a wonderful wife that deals with my stuff….I have 2 years plus clean and have found hobbies to be one of the best ways to stay that way. I grew up 50 miles north of Pittsburgh on a beef cattle farm. Then after spending way to long in the city,I found my way here in the Allegheny national forest on a mountain top. I shoot almost every day inside and out, about 2000 a month. I really like field target and 10m paper but I am really starting to like long distance benchrest. Thanks for inviting me into your club.
