I have not done that. I've left it exactly the same as I received it with the exception of adding a scope. Hopefully, I'll have some time tomorrow to fiddle with it. Thanks!

I've never owned a regulated PCP before, so maybe this is typical, but I'm having some wild (imo) velocity fluctuations. After filling up the air tube all the way, my first shot with FX 15.9 pellets is around 870 fps then will steadily climb up for the next 30-35 shots or so until it maxes out...

So far, I've tried 14.3 grain CPHS, 15.9 grain FX, and 18.13 grain Baracuda 18. Mine definitely does not like the Baracuda 18s, likes the CPHS, but loves the 15.9 grain FXs. I have 2-3 more pellets to try in it but ran out of time today.

Ok, I figured out what problem was. I'm an idiot. Like I said earlier, I'm unfamiliar with this gun, and it's actually my first side lever PCP. The issue was, I wasn't cocking it back all the way. 80% but not 100% 🤦‍♂️ 👮🏼‍♂️ Nothing to see here, folks! Move along now! 👮🏼‍♂️

I never loaded the magazine, so it's 100% not a stuck pellet.

But surely that wouldn't also explain why the magazine can't be removed now, right?

I have. The cocking lever can still move freely like it did when it first arrived. Still silky smooth. That being said, when cocking it, I don't remember feeling any resistance, so maybe the sear didn't engage this morning after decocking it last night.

My Gamo Arrow is super quiet and shoots 14.3 grain pellets @ 734 fps. With the right pellet (JTS Dead Center 16.08) I'm getting 1/4" groups or better at 20 yards.

Haha! I just picked up a Gamo Hunter Extreme .22 (same 33mm magnum powerplant as the Swarm Magnums) and have been shooting the dickens out of it. Very challenging, but that makes it more fun to me!

BTW, that Vulcan 3 is a SWEET looking gun!
