How about daily recap or results for today? Wondering how benchrest, and the rest is going.

I know y’all are having a ball, someone should be sober enough to get results posted 🙂

Donnie you have opened a can of worms and have stated some pretty strong statements.

But no Evidence.  Let’s see the target.

Bob Stern has stated that a 20 FPS variance has no bearing on accuracy. He didn’t qualify the range. So maybe that’s what you need to do.

dollars to donuts that target was hole in hole, that’s why you don’t see it.

again I shoot .257 and you can see weight and some pretty ugly looking bullets.  Oblong hollow points come to mind. Yet at 150 yards they hit same spot.

a teaser video ain’t enough the people demand a chrono charts targets  hardairmagazine maybe needs to push on this but it’s hard when they’re advertisers sell pellet clean and sorting products.

Olympic shooters aren’t sorting per Steve’s JSB factory tour video.

I think we need to at least qualify and say for bigger calibers no discernible difference.

Baker Airguns is a great company and I love the videos keep up the good work.

It’s like running a sub 12 impact.  It’s not what it’s supposed to do.

ive seen some wild accuracy at 50 100 with .177 DW shooting slugs but 40 FPE won’t fly in FT

I agree.  It's the only pcp rifle I own, and I'm very happy with it.

You really have to love the 40 to 45 total pumps from low to high.  I can't say for sure, but I doubt there's another pcp rifle out there that's this easy to hand pump.

Gamo urban all day if you catch them for 200 don’t hesitate.  It’s nice to see a new owner excited but spread of 19 in ten shots ain’t horrible but once you cross a spread of 20 POI will change albeit you’d need to shoot past 10 yards.

I may point my younger brother to this rifle he didn’t care for flash but now he’s got a decent yard with backstop.

I haven’t shoulder one how do they point.

I have one I purchased as a "safe  queen." It is in excellent condition , is a blast to shoot and is very accurate. I have only shot it a couple times but it is impressive. I like the programmability it has.

That thing is a beauty and a great buy.

It was ahead of its time for sure but if they released an updated version it would sell out quickly. Their néw rifles with the krale stocks akela cayden however you spell it all 3 have been pretty solid rifles.

I was always looking to modify gauntlet it’s same as QB for most part and if I remember drop block price was 15 bucks but it’s awfully cumbersome design in my opinion.

the prods above look great I’d like to make a prod with plenum and buddy bottle.

Photos are always a good reference as YouTube can only take you so far. What is it 34 o rings if you count them all

If you search avenger air leaks you’ll see.  Airgun101 also has good videos explaining how pcps work. A professional YouTube video with photos showing the parts will help you.  It’s not complex nor is the problem so why they’re still selling these without an upgrade is beyond me. Just cause you have a bin full of nova liberty poppets doesn’t mean you should use them.

hold so how much air was in the scba tank. There’s no way it filled that entire tank with a minute and half of pumping. What 60 strokes? And to over 4500psi

    what am I missing here.

🤣 no no no!, I just used the gauge itself. Tank valve is closed so it is just dead heading and filling just the lines and filter.

As far as the knowing what I am doing with pneumatics, I know just enough to get me into trouble and waste a whole bunch of money.

thanks I don’t know why I didn’t think of that

That valve you show is only for 115psi. I too have looked into electronic valves but most I’ve found of poppet style require the difference between pressures to be within 500psi for valve to run.

plenty of slow screw run valves that would empty your tank by the time they close.

the rouge did it back in the day and huben now but I’d like to see more options here

The stock on origin is light years better and I really like how it points. It’s a good shooter as others have said.

if you get avenger I’d recommend wood stock I don’t think we have an the answer if the poppet has been fixed. But that hollow black stock is where they saved money and it shows. I won’t buy avenger unless your okay with having to replace poppet. YouTube videos have shown pyramid air and Airgun depot don’t have parts.

if you just want to shoot within 50 yards have you consider a hatsan flash? It’s quiet from factory reliable great Hunter.  Gauntlet 2 for 400 is likely to be great bench gun but that’s a compressor again.

45 handpump from Amazon works fine especially for flash it’s handpump friendly.

In addition I have lot of pneumatic supplies like that but like yours not much is rated for more then 200 psi of that.  Those electronic valves for example.

So i was screwing around and shot a 100 rounds or so and thought I have not used the hand pumps in a while. As i was pumping the fx with the 580 bottle i was wondering how acurate the guage was and whether i actually got over 5k with it that one time i was not paying attention. How could i find out how well my gauge was? Did I really get the pressure that high?

So i realized i could just hook it up to my bottle and and use the large fluid filled joe B gauge on it as I pump!

Just skip to the end just before I released the air in the lines.

Kind of makes me want to play with this setup again to see what else i can do. Lol

    Pretty impressive impressive work.

my understanding through 2 owners was rifle just was pellet fussy especially for minute of squirrel accuracy. So I don’t know your precision objective but both would just switch to heavier hand cast rounds or even the eunjin 43.5.

Thanks for sharing this info, again very impressive.
