100% agree with you, but im the kinda guy that will push the button that says don't push this button...lol...plus no one makes a replacement for it. So if i can make it better and more reliable, then why not try...I get the risks, im willing to accept them for the science and for those that want...

Update 4/30/25 So far so good! this has been working great. No leaks, No blow outs, and just keeps on working as it should have been designed. Iv pressurized the block to 300Bar and it holds just fine. Once i get my Bridgeport mill wired up in the garage, I will be making replacement blocks...

About 15°F difference, but only ran it for 20min...

just did the change to mine. super easy to do. my fan had plenty of wire to not need to flip it like some others. Temps are definitely lower...guess time will tell how well it works....

Update: Well I hope this works this time! I called Hatsan, needed new O-rings from assembly and tearing it down to much for testing. It began to leak. They asked if I modified it and i told them what i was going. They seemed interested to help, so they sent me a full O-ring kit and nylon seal...

Update: So I pressure tested it. Yea lets just say I had to change my pants when the pressure got to 100 Bar... The check valve foster fitting threads did not hold at all. Im assuming either bad thread job or the aluminum was somehow softened when it was threaded, because the fitting exploded...

Update: So i sent my regulator out to a local machinist. He drilled and tapped the two fill ports to fit two different foster fittings. On one side is the standard foster fitting. On the other is a 1/8 BSPP check valve fitting. Why? Well it was a mistake actually! I didn't realize I gave him...
