Air Arms Might get a tx200hc .22 in walnut

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that. I know I bought a TX spring from him not long ago. I've been buying up parts as I'm afraid they are going to get hard to find as things move on and the older suppliers wind down operations. I think the Vortek kit will serve you well. I just don't know if it...

Air Arms Might get a tx200hc .22 in walnut

My TX200HC with custom ARH kit. Shoot Jim an email and he will set you up. I also have Vortek parts in several rifles. I'm certain they have kits if that's a path you'd like to follow.

I love you all! It has been a terrific ride! It is now time to begin my exit and move on.....

I live in the country with some adjoining neighbors a bit away. I have a 25 meter range I can stretch further out, but rarely do. My most powerful springer is a Birmingham Webley Tomahawk that will shoot 20+ fpe. I have my most fun shooting a pair of FWB 300s, HW30, R7, HW50, etc. I do love my...

    Other A Little Webley

That's right! A .22 Tomahawk. It's a hammer shooting 20+ fpe, yet is relatively well mannered all things considered. Fun rifle. I've had this one for 25 years.

    Other A Little Webley

I have one of the old Webley's. I sure wish it was walnut and a Venom shop build, but it's a great rifle either way.

    HW/Weihrauch HW 30

For whatever it's worth, I've installed kits in both a HW30 and R7 recently. The Vortek PG4 kit in the HW30 hovers around 8.5, while the R7 with ARH kit with Vortek piston seal is around 8. Both are pretty peppy. Wonderful behavior with each setup. I've shot fantastic groups with both. The ARH...

N/A Air Arms Tx 200 or Weihrauch HW97

Yes, to both, and grab a HW98! Sold a Pro Elite many years ago. Would love to have that one back. Also, on the hunt for a Pro Sport walnut. All top tier spring rifles. Best of the best. Enjoy!

    Vortek PG4 return policy

The HW97k with the Vortek PG4 kit has a really clean shot cycle. No buzz really, but the kind of recoil you would expect from a 15# springer. I do understand that the springs aren't expected to last a long time at the full power level. A tradeoff of the smaller diameter spring with the...

    Vortek PG4 return policy

Tom has also been responsive to my inquiries. Not many people doing custom spring and tuning parts these days. I'm guessing the margins are quite slim. A labor of love serving a small niche at this point.

    Vortek PG4 return policy

I have one of the 97K PG4 kits installed and it's a great shooter. I'm just guessing, when you buy it you own it barring actual issues with the product. If you decide to sell it at a reasonable cost, I may be interested to have it as a backup.

Other Custom Stocks for well anything

Good looking stocks. More interesting figure than mine, I think. The finish and feel in the hands is nice on these.

HW/Weihrauch New springer on the way

Same pellet recommendations I offered above! And yes, the FTT pellets love that rifle and power level. Exceptional performance. I'd grab a few tins, maybe the various skirt sizes and shoot it in. I've been having less success with the newer batches of JSB pellets for what it's worth. Good luck...

HW/Weihrauch New springer on the way

Took a look at my notes and my HW97K with Vortek PG4 kit and Vacuseal is shooting 14.5 to 15 ft/lbs with the pellets I chronied at the time(JSB 8.44 Diablo and H&N FTT 8.64) I never shot anything as light as 7 grain pellets. I don't believe that is a good match for that powerplant.

HW/Weihrauch New springer on the way

The HW97K really shoots the H&N FTT pellets well. The HW98 likes the H&N Baracudas. Both worth trying.

HW/Weihrauch New springer on the way

Vortek PG4 full power kit installed. Match the power level to the proper pellet weight and you will be rewarded. About as good as these things get. Enjoy!
