Regulator Daystate Mk3. Worth fitting one?

The rifle is an FAC version and currently putting out around 24 ft lb on full power setting. The receiver is the 6 screw type and has 2 sealing rings on the valve body. I would like to keep the power at the same or similar level after fitting the reg also, which reg do you recommend, Huma or...

Regulator Daystate Mk3. Worth fitting one?

Thanks for the replies. The intake has already been opened up slightly so that part is done. I'm in the UK so not heard of a Peek striker tip but found out PEEK is a plastic material so I presume custom made? Also could you give me more info on plenum spacing please (the rifle is .22 cal) ...

Regulator Daystate Mk3. Worth fitting one?

Would it improve accuracy to fit a Lane (or similar) regulator to a Daystate Mk3 with the electronic trigger?

    Daystate Valve Body Seals Replacement

That makes perfect sense, I will make a tool up for the job. When tightening the components should I apply just a gentle tweak or is there a torque figure? Another question if I may. When I stripped the gun someone had applied Loctite on every screw and it was a nightmare breaking the seal...

    Daystate Valve Body Seals Replacement

I am trying to replace the valve body seals on my Mk3 but there seems to be a problem with the o ring groove sizes which seem to be two narrow for the seals supplied in the kit. Has anyone else had this problem, maybe I am missing shims or something?

    Daystate Mark 3 trigger microswitch

Thanks guys, problem solved. Further investigation revealed some Mk3's are wired outer pin to outer pin, some outer pin to center pin. My rifle was wired incorrectly👍 If it helps other Daystate owners the microswitch is a readily available standard part and costs cents.

    Daystate Mark 3 trigger microswitch

Thanks for all the replies. After changing the battery I started testing the gun, when I switch the power on I get several beeps then one long beep. The solenoid only fires if I pull the trigger then release it (the gun is firing on trigger release) can't be right I think. There is continuity...

    Daystate Mark 3 trigger microswitch

Thanks for the reply. After some Googling it seems that a D2F microswitch is a standard type and available cheaply. I have ordered two and will see what happens with a new switch.

    Daystate Mark 3 trigger microswitch

I have bought a non firing Mark3 and I think there is a problem with the trigger microswitch. Are these wired normally open or normally closed? The wires were soldered to the two outer pins which gives continuity until the trigger is pulled, is that correct?

    Daystate Mk3 Solenoid Testing

Can any members give me test specifications for a Mk3 solenoid, I am guessing there must be resistance values for the coil?
