I put one on a springer and it’s held up for several hundred rounds without any change in impact. The scope and rings were also Hawke. Quality is good and prices are reasonable. Of course it’s not a Leupold.

Yes Red Loctite was design to be taken off with impact Wenches etc. we usually torque down head bolts on heads of vehicles but I did reach out to Brownells like I said and that’s what they told me heat it to 350°F please let us know how you come out on your problem I would be interested to know

I talked to Brownells about the problem of Loctite and the tech told me that if you was to heat the part up that had the Loctite on it to 350°F that it should soften it up so you can take it off. A heat gun I would think should do the trick. there’s another type of Loctite I can’t remember the...

I’m new here but maybe it’s not hitting the air stripper but coming close to hitting it. The air turbulence could be affecting The bullet or pallet in this case. I am new to air rifles but I do gunsmithing on no more rifles and have been for over 40 years. I hope this helps as I am learning as well.

I have a Hawke 3 x 12 x 40 in the air max with a rectangle you’re talking about and for punching paper it works very well the scope is built like a tank as I’ve heard all hawk scopes are built very well. Good scope for the money
