    Bushnell scopes

In the past, Bushnell published that the Trophy and Banner 4x12-40AO and the 6x18-40AO were rated for Springers. I can no longer find that anywhere, but I have 3 different Banner 4x12-40AO on an R9, R7, HW30s, and they do fine. The R9 I have is from the 1990s, a blem from Beemans. I had put...

I would stock up now while Pellets are available.

I saw that all the pellets on my wish list at PA were all in stock. They cost almost twice what I used to pay, but at least they are available and in stock. I would grab what you can afford now while they still are. If the war expands, we might see metals like lead unavailable, or a lot more...

Who else is lucky to be able to shoot in there backyard?

A simple mat is just a couple of hay bales with a rubber mat draped over the back.

Is the beeman r9 /hw95 an all around springer?

I have an R9 that is about 20 years old in .177 and it takes rabbits and squirrels out to 30 yards. For hunting primarily .22 would be best, but the .177 is better if the main use is plinking/Field Target, and its acceptable for hunting.

    Bushnell Scope

Bushnell used to list the springer rating on these models like 10 years ago, but I cant find it listed on their site now. But I have 1 from about 10 years ago and 2 that I picked off amazon in the last year. The last one i got is on the R9. For a low cost scope they are ok. But i dont think...

    Bushnell Scope

There are 2 Bushnells that are springer rated. The banner 4x12AO and 6x18AO. I have 3 Banner 4x12AO on an R9, R7, and HW30s. They work fine for me.

    Everyone needs a pumper.

@crazyhorse I just noticed your hand guard on the barrel. I have one of those on my sons 392. You wont believe where I found it. I was taking some old metal scrap to the town dump at the metal drop off section. And I spotted the brass receiver and pump handle of an old benjamin. Not sure...

    Everyone needs a pumper.

I remember when i was a kid with my 342. My friend had a sheridan with a peep sight. I never saw one before and i couldnt see how anyone could hit anything with it. Now i love them. Actually now that im older ghost rings are more appropriate.

@raden1942 Good luck with those Dragonflys. I have been following BBs write up on them and they look great. That butterfly pump is something they had on the Benjamin 392s a while back, and its supposed to be awesome. It can be pumped 15 times too. I bet that will throw heavy pellets really...

    Everyone needs a pumper.

@slapshot, thats a great scope!! What kind is it? I remember Beeman used to sell a couple of Japanese scopes that were that short, and I wish I grabbed one. I have not seen anything close except that one they make for the AR15s that attach on the carry rail. Short low power scopes like that...

    Everyone needs a pumper.

My first was a Benjamin 342 when I was a kid. I picked up a couple 392s when my son was about 10. Now I just ordered that new Crosman 362. I want to wait and see how it is before I decide whether or not to order a steel breech for it. I like peeps on my pumpers, both my 392s have peeps. The...

    Everyone needs a pumper.

I love my springers, I shoot them 95% of the time. But you still need a pumper to feel young again. Nothing makes you feel like a kid again like walking thru a pine forrest with a pumper plinking pine cones, or thru a field trying to pick off those big dragonfly's that look like little Huey...
