The reason I'll be selling my FFP scopes is because, as someone else mentioned, they suck on low power, the reticle is tiny and the hash marks are unusable essentially.  Also, I sell/use scope turret stickers and just dialing to your yardage is by far the most accurate way to adjust for distance, making a FFP scope reticle useless (i think).  Wish I didn't jump on the FFP scope bandwagon so quickly…

Death Grip about $150.  Can go prone at 85* too, nothing steadier

I have the DISCOVERY VT-3 3-12X44 SF FFP First Focal Plane Rifle Scope and it's sweet but first focal plane is awful.  I know it's the fad right now and everyone's gotta have one but it's really only useful on max zoom otherwise the retical is so small that you'd never be able to use it.  I find it so funny how we all fall into these traps, all my scopes are first focul plane now and I'm going to sell them.  Scope stickers with yardage markers are more practical  and make adjustments not just easier but so much more accurate.

I thought about the same idea when seeing that plenum space but the vent hole steered me away from it, glad you took on the challenge!   Having to buy a bigger tube kind of sucks but man it really does make for a sweet rig.
thanks for taking the time to share.  Could you perform the same operation on your streamline?  That’s the gun I was considering it for.  I ha e the .22 and think we’re talking about the same .25 tube.

Did the barrel just drop in or did you have to encourage it a bit?

    Nice work though..

Nice work, looking at the ChairGun pic… I'm wondering where the system got that BC from?

Ps. The screen shot is my RAW HM1000x .25cal

So I'm shooting the 25.39gr JSB's in .22 (Redesigned Monsters) which I believe are about a .44-.46BC at 940-960fps, I just plugged in the weight and velocity to find the energy but the BC listing was from a slug or something random, definitely not a pellet of any kind.  I definitely don't think i'd shoot them that hot but I know Gregor (sp?) was shooting the .22 RD monsters at EBR this year extremely accurate out of the profit at 980fps out to 100yds.  He was tuned to 180bar though I think!  before my previous tuning the gun was shooting all shots at a consistent velocity until it fell below 150/155bar – my gun is not regged but shoots like one, but I would never be able to get this power at 150bar with a regulator, at least from what I'm told/reading.

Just curios, is the elevation turret on the Discoveries bassackwards? Looking at the turret in the photo above it appears to show clockwise to increase yardage.Didn't know if anyone might know. Haha, maybe one of those photo optical illusions.

Yep looks backward to me and I have a Discovery scope that works like my other scopes in that respect. Bill

Hahaha, sorry guys you’re eyes do not deceive you!  I put those stickers on the turret just for a picture the night that I made them and did it backwards like an idiot…   haha, my fault.
I did range them the next day and it was fun, they work fantastic, I was amazed at how much just a few grains actually changes POI.  It was nice to mark with two different colors and be able to shoot RD Monsters and slugs with the same set up and not have to recalibrate anything.

Nice shooting!  If you haven't tried them and are interested in slugs, try the Griffin's hollow point, hollow base!  I'm shooting the 22gr extremely accurately and he 16gr too!

Looks just like my .45 Bully that made 190FPE out of the box before modifications, how did Hatsan triple the output power?   Is the new valving available to purchase separately and drop into Billy?

Love it.  Have been thinking about it.  The gun needs a slug barrel to justify though for my liking.  I hate how (or love?) my Kral shoots 50fpe with and is just as accurate with slugs and pellets but my FX which is double the money shoots at half the power and half the projectiles.   Don’t get me wrong it’s a sweet shooter, it really is, but it could be more versatile.

What’s the reg at?   Can you open that thing up to breath a little better and tighten the reg up a little?   I would thing another 200fps would help a lot.   You may lose 10—20 shots but I’m willing to bet those flat shots will far out purpose the greater number of loopy shots.

I’m getting over 50fpe with my puncher breaker in .22cal that likely has the same valving as yours, so yes.

I don’t have many pictures unfortunately but message me and maybe we could talk thru it some, might be easiest way to describe how to get there depending on your resources and experience level.

Nate, great job man.  Takes. A lot of time to make a video like that, it’s appreciated.  You sold me on the gun too,  very interested in a .22 that can shoot 62FPE out if the box accurately and can weigh 4.4lbs……   like WTF Is that?   My goodness that’s bad a$$!
