Does it increase the longevity due to the lack of moisture?

I have the custom shop Marauder. I think it is a great utility gun for the price point. No problems at all. Side lever is easier to operate, but I also appreciate the feel of a bolt rifle. My sons like the marauder more than the higher level, more technical guns.

I have a Benjamin Travel Compressor for a Marauder Custom Shop. My friend tried to use it with his Air Arms 510 and it seems the fittings do not match up. Are the fittings on the Benjamin compatible with other brands or proprietary?
