I have a brand new Hawke Sidewinder, newer style with the “H” on the battery cover. Purchased for my mrod and it’s gonna be way too much for the property that I shoot on now. Has been mounted to the gun but has not been taken outside or fired etc as I don’t have an HPA air source yet… silly me ...

Yeah I believe I’m just gonna reg it, drop his valve components in and whatever power it makes it makes. Maybe down the road spoil myself with a barrel or a sleeved liner. Bummer how addicting these darn pcps are right! :) 

Not really sure, hoping for the 17.5gr in the mid-high 900s, maybe the 20.2s in the high 8s low 9s. Also found a thread about sleeving FX liners for use on the crosman .435” or .438” barrels….. 700mm superior liner on a mrod would be pretty neat. 

Hello all, After waiting a week or so my gun arrived. It’s slightly used and over 4 days I’ve lost 100psi in the tube but I plan to take it apart anyway for a huma .25 cal reg and some valve porting. it’s a .22 but I was going to order the hill 7 valve spring, 262 hammer spring, LW hammer...

They seem to be a very nice scope, I scored the 6.5x20 brand new for 200 bones. Can’t wait to use it 

Thanks for that, wonder if I’m .22 it could have some sort of bell curve or a 20-30fps extreme spread for 10 shots, definitely turned down though yours is making massive power!

Yes I’m pretty set on .22, pigeons, starlings, but also the occasional ground hog at 60-100 yards. I believe a 45fpe .22 should do the trick at that distance with a hollow point slug, just speculating however. I really like the magnum valve idea, with the 26” barrel setup. Would you happen to...
