if you roll them between two files you can add .004 or .005 in diameter . knurling I forgot what it was called. if you have slugs that it shoots good a round ball the same size should be ok. round balls are cheaper to shoot and dont require near as much air either.

I think that the plenum is filling up too slow after you fire the gun hence not enough pressure to push the hammer back . turning the regulator should help. Maybe someone will chime in that has experience with these.

I dont see anyway that cocking the gun can seal air. Mine was leaking somewhere so I took the bottle off got a pan and put enough water in it to submerge the forster fitting and the gauge up to its threadxs...mystery solved. leaking from gauge threads and fill threads.
