Hi, The referenced power supply is not a GX power supply. It is a generic, general purpose 12 volt 600 watt power supply. My friend is using it to temporarily power his CS4-i while he waits for GX to send him a replacement for the interior CS4-i power supply that failed. JackHughs

Thanks, The 12 volt external power supply will stay on the shelf unless needed for emergency use, such as failure of the internal power supply. I would buy a GX external supply but GX is out of stock and the GX website says "accessories" are not currently being shipped to the US due to Tariff...

Success. My friend purchased a 600 watt 12 volt generic power supply and hooked it up to his disabled CS4-i. The pump works like a champ! I bought one of these to serve as a backup in the event of power supply failure in my CS4-i. JackHughs

Start the compressor with the bleed screw open. Let it run under no-load for five seconds or so before closing the bleed screw. JackHughs
