Thank you for the info. Your custom gun sounds like quite the rifle. After help from all of you I have narrowed it down to 2 rifles. The Diana 48 and the Diana 54. Thank you for the help and recommendations. One question. Does the Diana Model 54 have iron sights?

While everyone is saying the r9/hw95 I feel myself leaning more towards the diana/rws model 48. This is mainly because I want something different and new. Because I already have a break barrel. And I want to see how good fixed barrels are. 

That is very impressive for your asp. That would be impressive on any type of gun. Airgun or not. 

The asp seems like a great rifle. I wish they still made it and that I bought one when they were still in production.

Thank you for the information. I have to say I can feel myself leaning towards the Diana/RWS model 48. I like the fact that it has irons sights so I don't have to buy a 130+ dollar scope just to shoot my gun.

Those are lovely rifles. My current rifle is a Gamo Hornet Maxxim in .177 caliber. I know its not as fancy as all of yours but it does what I need it to do. I do lots of plinking and I can always hit what I am aiming at with it. its also decently accurate. at 10 yards with the H&N Barracuda...

Do any of you have any complaints with it other than the weight?

What about a fixed barrel rifle? Say an air arms under lever or a diana sidlever for example.

I myself have experienced that also. Do you think I am better off buying a second gun or tuning my current rifle. I own a gamo hornet maxxim in .177. I can get 1/2 in. Groups at 10 yards with a less than ideal rest. I've put thousands of pellets through it and have had zero problems. Do you...

It is a nice looking gun. Have you had any problems with it?

My only thing with pcp's is that by the time you get the rifle, scope, and air source it comes out to a great deal of money.

Thank you all for the recommendations. I feel I'm starting to see a trend and that is get the r9/hw95. Since I dont hunt I dont really need a magnum break barrel. Most of my shooting is plinking/target shooting. I will sit on it for awhile because for someone making minimum wage a 450-500 dollar...
