I've used gt bullets 88 gr slugs , and some 97 gr pellets but the jsb 81gr shoot the best , also cut about 1/8 inch of the red insert off of the predator pellets and they shot very good ,

First thing I had to replace on my nuvair mch6 was the gage ,it leaked , got a larger one easier to read .

You don't have to worry about the rd balls falling into the transfer port , AEA uses a radial port , just a groove around the OD of the barrel with 5 or 6 small holes drilled in the groove ,I've chamfered these holes to improve air flow ( I hope ) but they are small ,around 1/8 inch so no way...

I have 5 25 cal airguns and shoot just about every day. My only complaint is that I have to order pellets , can't get them at the big box stores , I have a few .22 call but they get loaned out or just sit in the safe most of the time.

Mine slugged at .461 also , and the .457 ammo that I first bought would drop through the bore without touching, I'll bet yours will too, I had too order a special 461 mold to get the right size ammo , .459 will work but isn't ideal.
