Thanks for all the replies! I was worried about them as I've only had experience with CO2 guns when I was a kid. They leaked the gas out within a couple days. Of course, this was 1970's vintage. Maybe CO2 have improved.

The ones with good reviews are $$. No one likes to spend $1.5k or $2k on an airgun when they can get an AR15 for $600. While not rich, I got some extra money to buy a decent airgun. I like it better thaw walking around with a .22 rifle. If neighbors call cops...it is just a pellet gun.

Have a break open spring gun, 177. I wanted a .22 PCP to get rid of backyard pests. Trying to learn about them as the ones I like are very $$. Mail order dealers looks kinda sketchy. No guns in stock, want big deposits, $55 special handling fees, etc.

Any mail order air gun dealers you have had issues with?

What silencer / moderator do you recommend for an FX Wildcat MKlll BT Compact? I'm not a fan of crazy, visual designs. I prefer a simple design esthetics.

Will the FX hold the air charge well if not used for a while?
