Put in some 50Y practice this AM with my HPX.

I have a dwindling stash of the older unicorn MRDs, which are shallow skirt design. I have shot them against the new offering and both shoot equally in my Thomas. The AEA and JTS shoot Ok as do the deep skirt JSB and FX but the shallow skirts shoot the most accurately.

I think I read it’s the AEA 50.

I mount a 6” diameter pvc pipe on the end of my shop vac hose. It weakens the suction and will pick up the rubber and not the lead.

Same here. Crosman hasn‘t replied to my email either.

I actually like to practice in windy conditions as it better prepares me for surprises like we had yesterday.

@dmw6455 Similar thoughts crossed my mind but since I’m the match director and we had 11 eager shooters show up to shoot, I figured what the heck let’s have some fun.

Hey thanks Mike. My hold offs were near or past the box line. Really scary holding out there in la la land, in hopes of hitting a bull but it worked … most of the time. My vertical impacts were pretty consistent but horizontal hold offs were OUT there.
