Mirage can be tricky. The pattern you see when a target is in focus will be behind it. To see the mirage between you and the target you need to focus between you and the target.

In addition to guns not being handled unless at the line or filling, you should add that all guns must be covered, either with the soft bag, or a rag over the trigger group. Also, make sure the guns are unloaded and if they have a magazine it must be removed between lanes. You're doing great btw.

That was Heflin. I remember the targets well. Both days I had a high noon sun so it wasn't as difficult. I've also shot at a course with a 55 gallon drum on it's side for a target location.
