    M3 Delete the Reg!

@qball You were the one making thought experiments in the beginning, some basic physics calling you out is not theoretical or a thought experiment. I quote you: "Think about it, first reg has the same passage size as second and second one is restricted. If the first one isn’t restricted and...

    M3 Delete the Reg!

@tor47 For sure if you are trying to get down to 60bar from 300ber you'd want a first reg. The second reg cannot handle 300bar. But I don't think that's what @M0ist0ne or anyone else would use the reg delete for. A sub 12ftlbs setup requires different things than a 60plus ftlbs impact. Just...

    M3 Delete the Reg!

    @qball Only a difference of 17cc? P1V1 / T1 = P2V2 / T2 P=pressure in bar V=volume in cc T=temperature c Regarding Maverick vs Impact first plenums: Have temp at 20c. Say you have a first reg/plenum pressure of 170bar with 17cc more space and a second reg pressure of 105bar. That's 27.52cc...

    M3 Delete the Reg!

@qball Not sure where to start, but you should start with some entry level physics. Your fundamental understanding of pressures and gases is wrong when it comes to how regulators fill and shut. The reason the Maverick functions differently is you have a larger first plenum leading into the...

    M3 Delete the Reg!

@qball It's not as simple as that. Your "think about it" that if the 2 regs have the same "passage size" they will fill at the same rate doesn't work. To get a bigger picture dive into the conservation of mass in an open system, ideal gas flow and a combination of Boyle's, Charles and...

    M3 Delete the Reg!

@madeintheuk The MKII does not fit on the M3. The bottle end is the same, but the side that goes into the Impact is smaller on the MKII than the M3. I think they had to make it larger the M3 to fit the reg components in it.

    M3 Delete the Reg!

This might be a silly idea, but for the flow problem, FX should put a power plenum behind the first reg before it goes into the Impact action lol. Still wouldn't solve some of the other quarks about the first reg, but that would solve the flow problem. I put the reg delete on my M3 last week...

    M3 Delete the Reg!

@sell682 Yeah, if you look at the pictures on their website, it looks like there is an offset ~3mm hole. Just goes right through to the other side.

Tuning FX Impact M3 First Regulator Gauge Problems

If all else fails, just make sure you keep your bottle reg under 250bar and use the reg delete from K&L. https://krafordandlypt.com/products/m3-delete-the-reg I think it's the best way to go anyways for sligging and speed shooting. Having good back pressure behind the second reg is better for...

    Did K&L buy Saber Tactical?

If so, those guys are pretty funny!

    Did K&L buy Saber Tactical?

Yeah, Saber still has their own page, but it's now under sabertactical"inc".com not sabertactical.com

    Did K&L buy Saber Tactical?

This is odd... Go to sabertactical.com and it lands on Kraford and Lypt's website. Doesn't look like any of them came out with any official statements but was there some kind of takeover? "DONT MENTION THE MERGER!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwzcBZrM3Js

    kraford and lypt KLS-2

I noticed the monopod rubbing on mine too. But there is a quick fix for that. Just extend the length a few millimeters and it isn't rubbing anymore.... You can also unscrew the monopod and put it onto the other side. I think the problem is there isn't any instructions that come with it; but when...

    PSA for FX Maverick owners

I spoke with Stephen at Kraford and Lypt about their chassis. He says he is aware of the issue and their chassis definitely wont be rubbing on the bottle. Apparently their Gen3 guard for the Impact got delayed due to the neck of the bottle... They didn't release it due to Inocom bottles having a...
