You guys rock, I really like the Hatsan model 85 Sniper Vortex. Would you recommend .177 or .22 caliber?

I have an infestation of rabbits in my yard that I plan on turning into bunny stew! What gun would you guys recommend that can do the following: -quiet (I have neighbors) -able to hold a baseball sized group at 40 yds -not too expensive as it will never leave my yard. thanks!!!!!
