Thank you, everyone! I do use Renwax every 3-4 sessions to give it a good rub down, but I use oil in between. I really appreciate all of the replies!

Thanks, Likkity! Oh, yes, you’re in the humidity suck, too! 😒 lol I do keep my gun in my gun safe indoors when not in use. I have Gamo Airgun oil, but, from the sound of it, I need to get some Ballistol. Also, what kind of cloth do you use? Currently I’m using a soft microfiber. 

Thanks! The part that makes it difficult to understand why it rusted the way it did is that I rarely ever touch the steel. My face, hand, and arm only touch the synthetic areas while shooting, so the only time I can think of where I touch the steel is while carrying it. 

First of all, I’m glad to be a part of the Airgun Nation and look forward to the plethora of information y’all have to provide. Out of the many questions I’m sure I’ll come up with, there is one that is a bit more pressing than the others. I’d like to know what your “after shooting session”...
