Is there anyone out there producing a barrel band for the Maverick, or does does one from a different model fit/work?

yeah, that's weird. depending on your comfort level, i'd take the first reg apart and check things out. wonder if a wonky belleville stack could cause something like this. by wonky, i mean configured a different way than intended (e.g. )()()()( instead of ))()()((; just an example).

second reg feeds the plenum. eta: the plenum should always refill to what the second reg pressure is set at; after every shot. if the plenum is not refilling consistently, i would suspect the second reg before the first reg.

I suspect the grub screws are part of the design. The shorter front screws are part of the design. The grubs are not in the diagram because it's not meant to be a user-serviceable part. The fact that one of the grub screws is leaking, sucks. Since it's leaking, perhaps whatever...

It seems like it's just a small brass sleeve/bushing that you can take off your M3 tank's valve pin, and slip it on to your non-M3 FX tank. Not a new/different tank valve. https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/when-mk-ii-mk-ii-m3/#post-984859
