    I agree, I just use what's on the rifle for the most part. Pic rail I would imagine would definitely be more secure on a 300win mag or other hard recoiling gun. but if it comes from the factor with a dovetail ide think that a dovetail is more than enough.

    Setting up a range at home

    1 MOA is roughly 1" at 100yards. So if your not worried about getting too technical, ABOUT 3cm at 100meters, 6ish at 200m, etc. I do most all my shooting inside 150. Inside 50, I like to shoot at 1" targets or less, since those are my hunting distances, out past 100, I will shoot 2-3" steel...

    Local Walmart by me is between 11-14 depending on the day. Still cheaper than jsbs, but gets pricey once u start picking out all the smashed skits and deformed pellets

    for me, it's hard to beat my little .177 avenger. 10gr jsb knockouts at 950fps. Lightweight and I won't cry if it gets scratched up.

    I work for a heavy equipment dealer and when we change our cutting edges on buckets I will cut the old edges down and make steel targets out of them. They hold up to large powder burners great as most quality edges are AR steel, so will last a lifetime with airguns. Long as You've got a way to...
