    Pulsar XL50 on my Leshiy 2 .22cal

The XL50 is stepping up to a whole new level. Fantastic FOV. Ultra high resolution. Super jealous. :) Can't wait to see some pesting video's.

Ruger #1 scope recommendation? Sorry it's a PB but trust y'all's opinion.

    Digital scope without NV?

Would it make sense to use one of the scope cam setups with a traditional glass optic to resolve your issues? Something like what Ted is using in this video- It's a scope cam with blue tooth attached to a digital device like a phone or tablet. ETA- camera details at 7 min 43 second mark in...

New Arken Zulus TNC 225 ... THERMAL / I.R. Combination ThermNight & New 3-12 Zulus

TNC225 1024x768 NV & 256 thermal is low resolution. It should be affordable. What is the FOV in either degrees or feet?

Clip-on NV vs. dedicatated NV scope?

    I have a PARD 008 LRF, a PARD 008sLRF, the new PARD 4k Night Stalker and a Pulsar C50.

Clip-on NV vs. dedicatated NV scope?

I am a dedicated scope guy and have never used any of the clip-ons. That said, PARD has a clip on model that goes on the front of the scope. It's the only NV clip-on that I've considered because of the issues you've mentioned. Unfortunately the rifle/scope candidate for an FD1 addition didn't...

    Night bison or thermal?

Isn't the Arken just a low resolution (256 thermal) PARD with a trade name slapped on it? Who is making the Arken? PARD already has the TD32 available on their website with a compact model (similar to the Arken} coming soon...likely around the time the Arken will be available.

    Night bison or thermal?

@djtl1218 Those are extremes that one scope will have a difficult time covering. Which 4k Pro did you get? Which illuminator are you using? Can you see a coyote well enough to shoot at 4-500 yards with your setup? Honestly haven't pushed the NV past 250. However the thermals easily pick...

    Night bison or thermal?

ATN and Bering Optics both have a lot of reported issues and at the same time a dedicated group of fanboys. If you get a good unit it'll likely be problem free. Kind of like buying a Union made auto...just hope it wasn't produced after lunch or on a Friday. I came very close to buying ATN...

A pellet I would love to see produced

@Nomadic Pirate 66 Yes, that sharp edge on the Crow Magnum is what I like. I like your idea flattening the tip on the EunJin. I believe those are made of a much harder alloy as they feel a bit crunchy when running them into the FX. It feels like they need some extra lubricant.

If I saw raccoons on my property like this

Have seen raccoons do the same in reverse. Use the attic for having babies then rip a hole through the roofing to vacate. Originally accessed the attic through the hollow columns supporting the front porch.

A pellet I would love to see produced

Nothing like the WHACK of a Crow Magnum making contact. I'd line up for a heavy weight version with the hollow point filled in flat. Or have the front extended and get into the 34+ gr. range with a true semi wadcutter stepped profile. ETA- until then the Crow Magnum is my go to pellet for...

    PARD DS35(LRF) 70mm 850nm

@phoenix_cow Many thanks for that bit on adjusting the LRF box. Found myself searching for your post this morning. youtube.com/watch?v=iidgsXDbOBc&t=22s What a great video tutorial!

    Digital scope without NV?

ATN has a separately sold lfr with ballistic calculator that pairs with the scope.

    Night bison or thermal?

@djtl1218 NV and thermal both have strengths and weaknesses. NV pluses- Cheaper. Easy to identify the target once spotted. Easy to see obstructions. negatives- Harder to spot the target. Moving targets are more difficult to stay on and tend to pop in and out of view. Follow up shots on...
