Is it normal for these compressors to have a bit of air puffing out of the air inlet filter? Or should the one way flap hold it in? Compressor still fills small air tubes.

Hollow points slugs have been designed to open up at a certain fps, I wonder if the slower speeds allow the hollow point to do it's thing or stay together, no point to using them if they don't open up.
