In range tests my shooting partner & I found that FX rifles do not like lubed pellets, probably because of the barrel groove design being so short. In an Air Arms and a Daystate have seen an improvement in accuracy. I use Breakfree as a lube.

I have fondled both the FX 300 and the FX400. Not overly impressed with the fill probe or the feel of the FX300, plus it was not regulated. IMHO for the slight cost difference I would get the FX400. Magazines are a bit of a learning curve to load, especially if you have other manufactures...
