Air-gun that shoots salt to discourage woodpeckers destroying my house

I had an awful time with carpenter bees and woodpeckers. I would spray brake cleaner in the bees holes to kill the bees and larve, let it dry for a short time, then plug the hole with a 3/8" wood dowel and glue, trim the dowel flush then paint. I was sceptical about carpenter bee traps but...

Newbie to Air Rifle Needs Advice

Spring guns have personality, some good, some not so good. The tx 200 and the hw97 are very good guns. Both are high quality but heavy. When it comes to springers they tend to be over sprung in the states, and they tend to be more temperamental. I keep all my spring guns in .177 and 12 foot...

Since when has buying an air gun become like buying a car?

I agree, I read the forum to learn from others about airguns because I can not afford to buy all the airguns that are on my wishlist. If someone has a problem with a gun or dealer, why be scared about sharing that with all of us.

    Pigeon Shooting

There is no magic pellet/slug, pigeons are tough to kill sometimes. I killed a few for a number of years, I used sub 12 ft/lbs in .177. My opinion is, placement is key. I noticed that when I used larger calibers I had a tendency to get sloppy. That is why I used .177, it forced me to get my act...

Is the FX Impact M3 worth its price?

Most modern pcp airguns are more accurate than most shooters, even out past 100 yards. Personally I recommend asking yourself if you want to tinker and tune a gun or if you want to just shoot it. AA, Edgun, Uragan, Kalibur and others will shoot with minimal setup and tuning. FX will require a...

How many people still run a shoebox?

I am using an F8, I am not sure of the hours as it doesn't have an hour meter. I have rebuilt it twice, I have a couple of rebuild kits left. I will miss it when it dies. At this point it is still going strong.

I love my wife's nail polish....

He put the nail polish in the center of each target, that way he has an easy to see aim point.

    convited felon laws and airguns

Do your friend a favor and consult a lawyer in your area, DO NOT trust anything that you read on a forum in regards to this subject. As an example felons are not allowed archery equipment because people hunt large game during bow season. A lawyer will cost, but it will be worth it if it keeps...
