Do you think an adhesive will stick to it? Just thinking that I want a smaller aiming point. Also tempted to attach these to the back of my steel swinging targets, then I get the feedback from hitting the steel but also track misses.

The 8001 is shooting around 13fpe with JSB heavies, it's a laser at silhouette distances (max 45yds). I figure 650fps with 8.44gr will give me similar ballistics at 50yds to my .22lr at 100yds. Big thing with the PRS stuff is learning to get a stable position on a barricade quickly...

Definitely feel like this is the place for PCP knowledge. The Anschutz is only my second one. Tempted by a Snowpeak M16 or Air Venturi Avenger for a PRS practice rig. Especially if I can get the ballistics at 50yds to be similar to my .22lr at 100yds.

Have you been able to determine how large the center dot is in MOA? I'm considering this scope but I like a fair sized dot, which my current Cabela's Covenant actually does a good job with I just dislike the rest of the optic.

Although they aren't the lastest hotness I've gotten several Versapods for a good price ($75). They are very strong, simple and easily modified. I've built an ARCA Swiss mounting setup and 45 degree forward leg position just using hand tools.
