If the "replica" is not important to you, then you'll probably like it for backyard plinking. Keep in mind that it is ready to fire as soon as the magazine is inserted - even if the slide has not been cycled.

I was able to epoxy the wretch back into the handle using "JB Weld" and then painted the front sight white.
