Nice shot. My Mom told me a story of when she was a little girl in Michigan and the family was camping during Thanksgiving and got snowed in. My grandpa went out and shot a porcupine and that was what they had for Thanksgiving dinner. She said it was pretty good.

Thanks according to the drs I'm good to go. They even changed where they did the surgery because they could save more of the leg.

I got a chance to test some Zan slugs which I have never heard of before seeing some tests posted. Did a quick video shooting them through the FX Impact M3 Sniper .25. https://youtu.be/FcQOzF-1Uhs

Keith over on 68 whiskey just did a video showing this. He shot slugs and pellets from his M3 at 175 yards by simply changing the tune while shooting. No video edits he kept the camera on and shot each group without extra shots to settle the regs.

I just had a long talk with a tech at FX about my Maverick Compact .22 and slugs. The one thing I found out is you will need a heavier hammer weight the stock one is too light. When one is available I'll be swapping mine out but for now it is slinging pellets like a laser. I'veseen enough videos...

Great shooting. I love getting a chance at collared doves and shoot every one I can. I'm not the biggest fan of game birds but they do make a good meal.

That was a hit looked like a shot to the front of the chest. Rarely drop one in its tracks with that shot but it is probably done.
