Same for me. LCS .30 only likes pellets, Western .357 only likes slugs.

Try a few slug weights from Nielson Specialty Ammo. And try the high arc hunter 178 gr. Just get a single box of each until you find out what it likes. JSB 81 gr pellets for plinking fun.

I had a 1-8 primary arms on my bulldog. It was kind of overkill for that gun. Replaced it with a holosun red dot and the holosun 3x flip to side magnifier which is fine for that gun.

Western Airguns are hard to beat with thier reliability, power, and one of the few serious semi-auto options.

Western has worked out the kinks on leaks. Very solid. I'd pick any of their products over lieshy just because of that.

I was an early adopter back when the first .25 LCS SK19 came out. (Western predecessor) Loved that gun. Super accurate but leaked like a sieve. Sent it in several times to get the leaks fixed but they always came back. Finally had to sell it back to AOA. Bought the .30 LCS. That gun is a champ...

I'm looking into them as well. I saw a nice used rifle on their sight. Called during business hours. No answer and left a message. Sent a text also. So far, no replies. Google gives them 4.2. Most folks seem happy, but sounds like a few, including posters as recent as last year, got stuck...
