    New to Airguns

I've tried Crossman destroyer ex and daisy precision max flat nose. Also some older Beemans and another pointed pellet but they both shot horribly. I didn't clean the barrel first. I'll get some higher rings and clean the barrel and see if that helps. Fun to shoot so far despite the...

    New to Airguns

Finally got everything together and started shooting. I had an old simmons whitetail classic scope which focuses close so I put that on, i have high rings but the scope barley touches the barrel, ill need to get extra highs. Im getting fliers but im not sure if its ammo or the scope touching...

    New to Airguns

Thank you all for the suggestions. I already ordered the .177 marauder, had cabelas price match Walmart for $400. I ordered the inexpensive ebay hand pump so I can shoot right away when it gets here but I will probably add an electric pump in the future, I have 160 acres and no super close...

    New to Airguns

My wife is the reason I got interested. I shot a Coyote out of the front door of the house with the .22 mag, she is pregnant and said it upset the baby and was to loud for her, when I went to shoot a Red Squirrel off the bird feeder the other morning she asked me to refrain. I decided it would...

    New to Airguns

Thank you all for the responses. I have much to learn but am excited. Physically I'm pretty fit so I think I'm going to take the suggestion of a cheaper hand pump and maybe a compressor in the future. I appreciate that suggestion in particular.

    New to Airguns

I mostly plan on using the gun for starlings/sparrows/red squirrels etc. As more houses are built around my farm it's no longer feasible to shoot .22 cal rimfires up into trees. I may do some target shooting as well, It suppose it depends on how terrible hand pumping turns out to be, I may have...

    New to Airguns

Thank you, got those covered. I used to love shooting, rimfire and centerfire but I've fallen out of love with shooting. When ammo price and availability went up it just quit being fun, hoping the Airguns will reignite the fire. I don't even have the Marauder yet and I'm already drooling over...

    New to Airguns

Thanks, I'll do more research on optics, I plan on sighting the gun in at my bird feeder about 30 yards away so I need something that will focus in that close. I do have a Leopold rimfire scope that may work.

    New to Airguns

Hello all, I'm basically completely new to Airguns. I recently ordered a Benjamin Marauder and plan to order a Hill Mark V pump to fill it with. I'm still trying to decide on a scope/rings (hoping to find something from Cabelas as I have a pile of gift cards). Besides the Pump and scope/rings...
