Air Venturi Refilling an Avenge X (complete Newbie)

What's the max fill pressure for the Avenge X? My guns are either 220bar or 250bar. Is the X fill pressure greater than that? I'm assuming it's 300bar. You wouldn't be able to fill to MAX a number of times but WOULD be able to fill to, let's say 225-250 a number of times. Your gun will still...

    Discovery optics (Budget benterest scope)

I have an old VT-Z 4.5x27x50. It's one of my most inexpensive & favorite scopes! These days there are lots of options available to us. Don't have to spend big for a perfectly capable optic. Got it used, worked flawlessly for years like Ranchibi's.

    New member, Hi

Welcome aboard the Rabbit Hole train! AGN is an incredible repository of airgun knowledge & kind, helpful members (for the most part) to dole it out. Enjoy the ride!

FX Dreaded DRS bolt stuck in magazine/barrel

Hence my "rule" to never purchase a first offering of any new gun, no matter how appealing. I try to let others find what does or doesn't work in a manufacturer's new entry to the market & wait for the "2.0" version. I'm sure there will be others experiencing the same problem as you & kaylaindy!

    POI shift ?

The most I've ever had poi shift is MAYBE a click or two but most times NONE. My FX Boss, Royale 500 & Bobcat .22 are amazing that way. I traded my Bobcat for an Edgun r3 long, .22 & it doesn't seem to suffer poi shift either! Is it LUCK or the platforms I choose?

RAW Rapid Are higher powered PCP's more difficult to shoot accurately?

I mainly hunt/pest, no paper. My most stable position is sitting cross-legged using a 13-27" tall bipod. Holding gun as lightly as I can with fewest contact points as possible gives the most accuracy. Same if I'm using a tripod, light contact at the fewest points. The majority of times my left...

CS4-I to fill small SCBA (what fittings do I need)?

If it's a standard SCBA valve a CGA347 fill adapter off Ebay or such will do it. Picture of your valve & threads?

N/A Do PCP rifles normally leak a bit over time?

It's only "normal" in the fact that ALL pcp's at some point in time, sooner or later, are going to leak SOMEWHERE. Whether or not it's normal for your gun depends somewhat on relevant factors. How old is it, how much has it been shot, ever noticed it leaking before, etc.? There are lots of posts...

    Ground squirrel appreciation thread

I have about 200 videos but too lazy & inept on the editing program. If I decide to do the labor on some I'll post them here. I know I've killed more than 100 since the beginning of May. The last 3 or 4 weeks I've been neglecting using my beloved FX Boss (44.75 Hades @885fps) which was always my...

AEA What factors can explain these results?

Are you allowing for the fact that for every different pellet tried, it might take anywhere from 40 or 50 pellets to a hundred or two to "season" the barrel to a particular pellet? Airguns have idiosyncrasies that are different from firearms. Then again, some guns are less finicky.

    Having trouble seeing the reticle

OK, don't wear YOUR glasses. If it's someone who normally has to wear glasses all day (for both far and near correction) they will see better that way through scope. There's a "Ted's Holdover" video about that. I said NOTHING about all the other things you mentioned. If you don't agree, fine...

Pellet packing: Midway USA vs Pyramyd Air

Yeah, there's more to consider than just price when ordering pellets. 1st & ONLY time I ordered from Amazon I learned my lesson. A thousand loose pellets & 2 empty tins is what I got in a shipping envelope, not even a box.

Need dovetail to Picatinny adapters for TX200/Pro Sport

The UTG spring loaded ones that go into the jaws/Clamp of picatinny rings work great. Inexpensive, easy, unobtrusive.

    Just got a tripod

"Good price" is subjective (depending on one's budget). I got my tripod for $16 on an insane 1 day sale. Never expected it to be nearly as robust & stable as it is. For $16 I figured I'd take the gamble. Glad I did. Almost makes me feel like I'm cheating when I use it. I think you'll love the...
