VERY simple to dismantle & reassemble after increasing spring tension by one or two turns. It should help magazine to work correctly. Also (I don't know exactly what gun you're having the problem with) check if barrel might be able to be pulled AWAY from breech by a mm or two & re-tightened...

Try the o-ring advice. It's kept my mod perfectly squared with the barrel. EASY fix. Just how badly yours is clipping we don't know. Pictures would help. More than likely the o-ring trick and/or boring your exit hole to a larger diameter will fix it.

"Worth it" is subjective. In my income bracket 3.5 years of solid service from a $285ish compressor was DEFINITELY "worth it". It paid for itself by way of gas used & shop filling fees in its 1st year. Ymmv.

As said & reiterated here already the 1st, most important thing to do is find what pellets your gun shoots the best with. JSB 13.18gr or FX pellets (same weight) would be a good starting point. Almost ANY pcp should be able to shoot hole in hole at 25 yds but it takes the correct pellet matched...
