Check the screw the connects the trigger to the the rod that connects to the sear. Also check that the four screws that clam the barrel and air tube is tight.
Started with the AEA challenger in January and since then I have picked up many more. Great guns and based on your budget, something for everybody. Plenty of power, good accuracy, and can be modified. I moved this Challenger SL.
I just weighed my Challenger standard in .30 with the 24 inch barrel. Mine has a reg and scope mounted and came in at 10.25#. I would say 8# is closer to the true weight. Weight is also without the moderator or bipod installed.
No worries glad it worked out. Knowledge is learning from your mistakes, wisdom is learning from other people’s mistakes. In my case I am very knowledgeable but not wise. Lol
I tried NSA but couldn’t get them to shoot. The diameter was .249. Reluctant to order another batch in .250 when the Zan 35 are shooting really well out of them. The best accuracy is when I push them right around 900 fps. If I watch the digital gauge on the plenum and wait for it to reset to the...
My BP is in .25. I didn't notice much difference with two plenums vs just one. I did notice the refresh pressure is slower with two plenums especially when they are separated. The digital gauges are awesome at showing the precise real time changes in pressure. I use 34 gr pellets for my...
The gauge on the side is 1/8 BSP vs M8. They are less than 10 buck off eBay but takes a minute since it is shipped from China. I have an extra if you decide to do that I can throw in an envelope and send to you.
There are a couple of ways to get it clocked in the right position. I bought a pack of dowdy seals from amazon and went through the batch to get the best one. The is another method where you use a space and oring. You will also need to mod the stock if you want it in the same position...
I have both types on my avenger bullpup. if you get the external type make sure it goes on the low pressure side (regulated air side) and not the high pressure side. For the type that screws into the internal plenum, you have to get a trigger bar that is modified to work around the additional...
I used the hubenpower external regulator. I tried having a 30 bar offset and was still getting creep, so I pretty much equalize the two now and the pressure is more consistent. At 2900 PSI this thing pushes 34 gr FX pellets to 940 with spring tension to spare and produces one ragged hole at 25...
I had issues with POI shifts in my avenger and one item you may want to check is the spring adjustment screw. If you do a lot of tweaking like I have done, the screw gets loose and the vibrations shot to shot will have it moving. The avengers do not have a set screw for the hammer spring...
I took a look at the spare avenger bullpup receiver I have for a future project/parts and figured it out. Once you have the charging handle removed. Remove the pin that is located in the back and lower part of the plastic cover. The pin protrudes on both side to help keep the plastic cover on...
I ended up using plastic wedges an a thin chisel to cut the tabs. The cover will go back on after cutting the tabs. luckily the top rail pieces keep the cover in place when you put it back together. The screw connected to the probe is reverse thread and you pull the probe back to get to it...
