Thanks...My real concern is that when I cut the end of the stock off, will that expose some material that is radically different than the exterior synthetic material.

Does anyone know if the synthetic stock of the MkI Wildcat is a solid material or is it a coating on some substrate? I want to cut some of the forend off to make room for a tube clamp but I don't know if, in doing so I would reveal the substrate. Thanks in advance!

I have a gen 1 wildcat in .22...I have never had a single issue with it in the 4 years I've had it. Still shoots a ragged hole at 35 yds. Never even cleaned the barrel! I'm looking to get a MkIII in .25, but I'm holding out for a walnut or laminate stock option. UA doesn't have any timeline...
