So far so good, I've had great shot groups at 150 yards (haven't had a chance to shoot it further) It has its advantages on my friends ranch where we took out some coyotes from the post. Good shot count for what we were doing, speeds at roughly 950 I want to say.

I guess it depends on what you are hunting. Yes and no, I think this is a great option as a just in case. Also seems it can distribute weight differently where one is more important for the PRS guys this can be better for carrying.
