Mine inside of 30 is not picky at all, just about anything but the most rot gut pellet will do quarter sized groups at that distance. At 50 it starts to get a little more picky. I have been out of about everything in JSB land so all mine has had is H&N stuff. Barracuda match it seems to like...

This will be a fun list....I could care less how loud it is, I shoot center fire rifle out my back door....no one cares. I think if I had to say one would be weight.....but really I am a bench shooter now.....perhaps ease of cocking if it is a spring gun.


Crown is the new kid on the block....with some "new" features....features that the Marlin Mod 60 has had for decades, but put it in an airgun, and poof new....well it is new for airguns, and I expect it works well for the same reasons it works well in rim fire. I think there are very few guns...

You might also look at this stuff....I got some stuff of theirs as well....much cheaper (cost wise) over the stuff at HD or lowes, They are VERY well built, heavy good steel, I am really amazed at the quality of them....good stuff. I got some tall cabinets that stuffs go in, as well as two...


The key is a little space between the carpet and the backstop....that air space will quiet it down.


When it starts to fall apart too much...or you just say lets do a new box....suggestion as I just did this: Wear a mask....the rubber actually gets dusty....I am guessing rubber bits and lead dusts....not that great. Forget about picking up the box and dumping it....mine was in such bad shape...

This is spot on.....you can get a "real" gun for that. Taking deer and other large game is IMHO thought as marginal at best. Punching paper....why when a decked to the 9's 10/22 will be less money and be a real gun. In most places air guns are thought of as real guns, so again why not just...
