    HW/Weihrauch HW 50 s Finally Broken In

I’ve purchased 4 HW’s in the past 2 years (2 98’s, a 95, and 35E) and every one had annoying spring buzz. Don’t have the patience to shoot a few tins through them so I promptly put in an ARH spring kit. Great opportunity to correctly lube the gun too before it sees some use. Results have been...

Beeman Does anybody NOT not like .22 HW barrels?

Have’nt read this entire thread but just want to comment that I love my .22 HW98. Very consistent shooter and is my goto over my .177 98 when breezy or a garden pest needs to be dispatched.

N/A What is considered the “best”

Nice ProSport there! I agree, just need the correct technique and cocking is a breeze.

My Old Tomahawk(and a date of manufacture question)

My Tommy hasn't seen a lot of use but I decided to open her up. As the Brits would say, beautiful piece of kit! Piston aft end is polished to a mirror finish as well as the compression tube. Trigger block is amazing. All parts super quality. Generously lubed with moly. Piston has a different...

My Old Tomahawk(and a date of manufacture question)

I was fortunate to have purchased a Venom Tommy in .22 from Tim McMurray (aka "Timahawk") around 12/01. Truly amazing springer, cocks smooth as silk, quiet, and powerful! I own many springers and it is the only one I have never opened up. Still getting 20+ fpe and is my go to garden pest...

    HW 35E or FWB Sport

The HW35E is intriguing with the walnut stock, barrel latch, and linked cocking arm. Reminds me of my first springer I purchased 50 years ago - a Wischo 55N which was more compact, lower power but similar cocking arm design and walnut stocked. My HW95 with Maccari tune kit and Vortek seal is...

    HW 35E or FWB Sport

I agree, the FWB is a joy to hold and shoot and is dead nuts accurate. The HW's are great guns too, especially with all the available tune options (Vortek, ARH/Maccari/TBT etc) and accessories such stock bolts, triggers, and more. I'm an airgun addict and need a fix soon - maybe another HW95 in...

    HW 35E or FWB Sport

I own an FWB Sport and tuned with a Vortek seal, Titan spring and matching delrin guide (thank you jimk1963!). It's a great shooter and is now putting out 14.85fpe. The build quality of the FWB is amazing and the fit of the stock (for me) is perfect. Unfortunately the FWB needs to be tuned to...
