Sheridan Sheridan Silver Streak Model F

I used a small amount of rear view mirror adhesive to fasten a peep sight to an untapped Sheridan F. No problem for several years now.

Sheridan Sheridan Silver Streak Model F

Beautiful bunch of F's. In my opinion, tne rocker safety Sheridan F's are one of the sleekest air rifles ever made. I had two Silver Streaks and a Blue Streak. The Silver Streaks went to a collector friend. I still have the Blue Streak, which I have modified and converted to bulk fill co2...

    Sheridan Help with Sheridan rehab

Is the 380 better, well that I can't say. It is however a lot easier to use for what you are going to do. It is thinner than the JB so it will work nicely in the space of the the broken solder, it's Black so you won't have to paint it, and before it cures any cleanup is easy using Acetone.

All of the above are good, but I'll add Rick @ Precision Pellet in PA.

    Sheridan Help with Sheridan rehab

I have had good luck fixing a few separated Sheridans. I start by removing the #1 cause..the sight. I cut them off using a Dremel with a cut wheel. I then degrease all parts, and glue and clamp them together using Loctite 380 (Black Max). After the repair I install the OEM Sheridan peep sight.

Ok I got the 2240. Now what?

For the front sight. You can tap it off by holding a stick on the rear edge and tapping it off with a small hammer. When you get it off you will see that there is a flat on the inside to match up with the barrel. Use a Dremel or rat tail file to remove the flat and make the I D round. You will...

    Qb78 seal kit source

I had one of the earlier XS-60C's. It uses the same basic valve that the QB's have, and a trigger group that is very close to the QB. So the performance is similar to the QB. Give Mike @ Flying Dragon Air Guns a call, he usually has most of the parts and is the go to guy for the XS-60C.

    Crosman 160-Which Seal Kit?

The heat trick is basically used when the stem does not seak well on the seat. The gun is charged with co2 then you heat the tube with a hair drier to increase the pressure on the stem so it takes a better set to the seat. Rick @ Precision Pellet is very helpful, and has reasonable prices. I...

    GX CS4 compressor

I did exactly that. Not a big deal to do. I ran about a quart through it, replaced the hose, kept filling the tank with the pump running until full...done.

    Compressor??

I bought the GX CS4 to basically top off a 45min, and a smaller tank. It worked well. It is quiet and easy to maintain and has a 5 hour duty cycle if you need to fill an empty tank.

    depressurize a crosman 150

I believe that Jason has the right idea. However, for me when I had a similar issue it was that the stem had been pushed partly out of the brass toward the striker/hammer resulting in short stroking to the point that the gun couldn't fire.

    Just Pre-ordered a Jackery 2000

I must have missed the solar part. It looks like a battery pack that needs to be charged. Do you buy a separate panel package to charge it?

    6,000 P.S.I. air thread seal

Several years ago a Hydraulic Jack repair shop told me they used LocTite 518. I have been using it for a while now. I did try several other Loctite products before ..242, 539, 545, not much luck. The 518 is easy to find and reasonably priced..it's meant to be a Anorobic gasket maker. Just be...
